That is simply to mounth crane and light weight you need only tripod and head  and you can screw crane to base plate with 3/8 screw and is ready to use.
 

HKR-2 Camera Crane allows to perform smooth and stable shots,enables to lift the filmmaking equipment and rotate round the crane rotation axis. HKR-2 Crane is very easy to use. Its basic advantage is its speed as well as the ease of assembing and disassembling which takes a few seconds.
The crane is controlled manually. Left hand rests on the handle of the head, on which the camera crane was mounted, whereas the right hand controls the slope of the crane arm. The design also allows to control the slope of the mounting plate located at the end of the crane with the use of flexible connector.
Crane is equipped with a knob that locks the arm slope in a certain position and also works as thruster brake. There is also a 1/4'' hole in the support plate to mount accessories such as on-camera field monitors, microphones, etc.
