Introducing LIVE AIR

The PDL-AF LIVE AIR is a brand new wireless follow focus system which completely eliminates the
need for external D-Tap power. Combining the advantages of REMOTE LIVE and REMOTE AIR, we
designed a system which enables a single-user to wirelessly control focus for a variety of different
shooting scenarios.

Improved Molding

LIVE AIR utilizes an improved molding design which includes a magnesium alloy body with better shock
absorption, lower density, impact resistance, and stronger load capacity. Each dimension is finely carved
with CNC.


Multiple Options​​​​​​​

The LIVE AIR has two models of wireless controllers. For focus pulling, the PDL-MP-AF is recommended
because it’s variable thumb controller. For zoom control, the PDL-MP-AZ is recommended because it’s
constant zoom rocker.​​​​​​​


Easy To Set Up

The highlight of LIVE AIR is the addition of the new  MOTOR MINI, which is lighter, thinner, and easier to
set up than any previous wireless follow focus system.

The LIVE AIR controller mounts to anything with a 15mm-30mm diameter without the need of any accessories,
the controller can be mounted with any handheld gimbal stabilizer, three-axis gimbal stabilizer, shoulder rig,
tripod, top handle, jib, Steadicam/Glidecam, gimbal ring etc.

All functions in one button

 

The newly designed motor has all new practical features. From automatic and manual calibration to
adjusting the speed of the motor and recovering lens data after powering down. It can process all these
functions with ONE button.

Long Battery Life

The LIVE AIR motor now has a battery slot which uses a 600mAh 7.2v battery. Once the battery connects
with the motor, it will start up and sync automatically. The new LIVE AIR motor has a built-in power saving
feature which results in a 4-hour battery life.

 

New Built-In Battery

Inside LIVE AIR controller, we included a small internal battery that can last in standby for up to 20 hours,
and up to 8 hours use.​​​​​​​
 

One Button, One Solution

One of the main features of the LIVE AIR is that all of the functions can be controlled with just one button.
The indicator can visually display the state of the motor or controller’s battery information.

Bluetooth Connection

The controller and motor have built-in Bluetooth module. If connected via Bluetooth, the control range is
65 meters.​​​​​​​
 

Compatible With Various Types of Lenses

LIVE AIR can easily work with most of the film lenses and DSLR camera lenses.

Integrated Rod Mount

The LIVE AIR includes a 15mm rod as well as a special 15mm rod cold shoe clamp.
